Finally had some amazing Indian food yesterday in London! Everything was prepared deliciously and the spices were perfect! I do love spicy food and they were able to offer my plate as spicy! If you love a lovely atmosphere and great service come and eat here! A great dining experience

The Mint Leaf was a gem of a find for us.

Hidden away in the sidestreets and rows between hotel Apex and the Bank station. We've been here a few times, since it's so conveniently located during our stay.

We've been here at odd and often late hours to dine. This last time around it was more dinner hours and the bar/lounge was crowded and the music thumping. I'm never a big fan of that scene, but great food always wins me over. Fate had us at exactly the same table with the server that remembered us from November.

I love this menu as I'm always getting something different, yet solid. We shared a few openers.

      Tandoori Duck Breast Kebab-Chilli chutney
Potato Cakes-Curried chickpeas with tamarind and yoghurt

These were both very good and the sauces complimented both dishes well.

For our mains, I had the South Indian Lamb Pepper Fry-Laccha paratha which is always one of the hotter dishes of the night. Kris had the Bombay Spiced Vegetables-Laccha paratha and enjoyed it. With our orders we munched on the Chef basket of Naan, one of which was stuffed with potato and another was garlic. Those were outstanding and perfect for mopping up the tasty sauces from all the dishes.

Service has always been spot on and it's a stylish and trendy setting. We love this place and are here often.

Nicely decorated, and there is alot of space to lounge around on the comfy sofas. Bar service was horrendous though went on a Thursday after work for leaving drinks, and even though the place was not packed it took a good 20 minutes to be served at the bar. Worse still were the people in front of me; they ordered wine, only to be told that the venue had run out of clean wine glasses!

Prices are on the high side, but average for a swanky place like this. Although we didn't have food, we were close to the open-plan kitchen and the food did smell and look very tasty. For lovers of seafood, their grilled crayfish, fishcakes, and giant prawns would more than satisfy any craving.

Just one last thing music was very soft, so its one of those ideal places if you want to talk and chit chat, but definitely not one where you want good music pumping in the background.

By far the most overpriced meal I have had for a long time :

20 pounds for a lamb biryani
24 pounds for 3 prawns as a starter
Plus a wine list so overpriced I don't know where to begin

Food was ok but just not with the money
Service also poor given the prices

Went to this place for a PR event. It was well tucked away in the banking district and i imagine it gets busy on a thursday but is dead at the weekend.

Met in the champagne bar on a beautiful mezzanine with organza curtains and snakeskin sofas.

The cocktails were dreamy, Strawberry and Vanilla Martinis, Orange Mojitos (in pints) and Porn Stars (served in a martini glass with a half passion fruit, and a shooter of champagne) which were sweet yet tart and dry.

We had a taster menu which consisted of small canapes of coriander chicken, the biggest prawns covered in chili and ginger and garlic, and a beautiful salmon dill mousse. All the food was Indian in its inspiration and it was delicious.

The rest of the venue was large and spacious, without being impersonal; an old bankers hall, the floor is apparently a metre thick! Natural stone and wood give the space an organic feel and apparently Feng Shui experts have been consulted to make sure the venue and therefore your night is a happy one.

Mint Leaf is a favourite of mine. I love the place! Although, I regret to say I've never had dinner there. I've only ever been for drinks.

This place is chilled. The decor is sensual and tasteful. Mellow background music, just where it should be, in the backgorund. Makes me wanna breathe a sigh of contentment. Mmm, mmm, mmm!

The service is excellent and very attentive.

A great range of rum and wonderful cocktails.

      It's never crowded and hectic.

It makes a very good venue for a date.

You can bet I'll going back!

A sexy City bar ideal for a special drink.

I say 'sexy' because of the smooth leather sofas, low lamps and gorgeously long backlit bar of glowing bottles. I say 'City' because surprise, that's where it is, plus it's not the kind of place you rock up in jeans and trainers. And I say 'special drink' because it's pricey - cocktails come in at £9 and then they add 12.5% to the bill.

A friend and I were celebrating so chose it based on swishness and location constraints. We got through a couple of cocktails each: The Fleury (a safe choice involving Bombay Sapphire and lychee liqueur) got guzzled in the same time as my friend had taken two sips of hers (I was clearly thirsty!), whilst the Napoleon was my wildcard choice (rum, chartreuse, mango, ginger liqueur and a passionfruit half floating on top). Served in a giant bigger-than-my-face brandy glass and surprisingly nice.

A-OK service too; had to wait a while to get attention at the bar but beyond that they offered to bring the drinks over and we had attentive table service for the rest of the evening (just as well given the aforementioned 12.5%). A friendly smile always goes a long way with me too.

Didn't quite get over my inherent skepticism of super pricey Indian restaurants enough to stay for dinner, but the canapes that wafted past on trays smelled pretty good! Probably makes a nice date place as the music is low enough to chat. I'd probably go back on another swish-drink-worthy occasion - but more likely on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday to nab a happy hour deal...

A great restaurant, despite a few hiccups. The samosas we ordered for pre-starters had to be asked for 2 or 3 times. Also, it's the very first time in London that I get refused the right to takeaway our leftovers. Apparently for Hygiene issues... but I probably took more risks for my health, trying to eat everything that was left on the table afterwards...
But on the positive side, our food was delicious. My beef was cooked to perfection, very tender, and with a flavourful red wine and curry juice that inspired my taste buds.
Cocktails were great as well, and so was the wine, and the desserts !

My coworkers and I popped in for dinner after work one day. It's hidden location made it a bit of a challenge to find but the restaurant is well worth the trek.

The decor of the restaurant was beautiful and the atmosphere is very lively with a good crowd of 30 somethings at the bar after work. It took them a while to seat us, even though there were clearly tables available - perhaps trying to get some extra business at the bar.

The food was of very good quality and the portions were sufficient. I had the lamb shank for dinner which was very nicely braised in a fragrant sauce.

The reason I have 3 stars instead of 4 stars was the service. The wait staff was very slow, particularly when it came to refilling our water glasses. They also were not particularly helpful as most did not speak english as a first language and it was difficult to understand them.

The restaurant is hidden away in a small courtyard off the main street and provides a good option for lunch and evenings. During lunch they serve some lunch menus that are quite good value given the location and the type of restaurant.

In the evening the place gets busy with workers from the city going there for a cocktail and maybe having a meal afterwards. The cocktails are good, but nothing special. Food is also good, especially the kebabs are really tasty.
