December 25, 2024Thank you Fully Booked! This is such a wonderful book about learning any types of materials not just for technical programs but also for non technical! Barbara Oakley really did a good job writing this book by providing clear insights on how we learn.
A catchy headline

April 15, 2020When you read 'A Mind for Numbers' it becomes evident that Barbara Oakley, the author knows very well what she is talking about. For someone who on her own worked out the path to like the intricacies of Mathematics and then sit down and write a beautifully structured book on 'how to set about' in learning Maths
is commendable. Let us remember that writing a book of this nature is not an easy task, to say the least.

May 2, 2016I really think it is under-priced for such a good book! This book should be listed in high school compulsory reading list! it helps you to learn better, memorize better and live better! It helps you fight procrastination and achieve high goals! It helps you rebuild self-confidence! Highly recommended to everyone who are struggling learning new things, not just maths and science.
