UFC Quick Quote: Dana White says 'it's kind of sad' fans we're leaving during UFC 186 main event, but doesn't 'give a sh*t'

You missed the latest finish in UFC history suckers!

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

"I don't give a sh*t what people are doing. I'm watching the fight."

"It's kind of sad that Demetrious Johnson has this thing hanging over his head, he's not this, he's not that. He does everything the exact way he's supposed to. He comes in with a game plan and follows it to the letter. He's just one of these guys that has to put his head down, keep doing his thing and you have to respect him."

Many fans in Montreal, Quebec, Canada last night (Sat., April 25, 2015) deemed the UFC 186 co-main event pitting "Rampage" Jackson against Fabio Maldonado as the "people's main event," and they took that one step further when hundreds took for the exit before Demetrious Johnson's sixth straight flyweight title defense over Kyoji Horiguchi in the actual pay-per-view (PPV) main event. When asked for his thoughts on fans leaving the arena before witnessing what ultimately became the latest finish in UFC history (highlights here), UFC president told MMA Fighting at the post-fight press conference (replay here) that he feels bad that "Mighty Mouse" has to have something like this hanging over his head after such an immaculate performance, but he could not give a shit what fans are doing while he is watching a fight. Maybe it is time to reevaluate having Johnson headline PPV's until the casual fanbase is more interested in seeing him throw down? Just a thought.
