KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd, oil and gas service provider, has signed a collaboration agreement with Malaysian Bumiputera Contractors Association (PKBM) to explore business opportunities pertaining to the East Coast Rail Link (“ECRL”) project.
Chairman Datuk Seri Nik Norzrul Thani Nik Hassan Thani said the collaboration between T7 Global and PKBM is key to build new successful business models that leverage on their expertise to identify and support the project.
“The (Malaysian) economy is gathering pace, thanks to the various efforts by the government to boost the economy. We expect development activities to rise again,” he said in a statement.
“At this juncture, the collaboration will also provide great employment opportunities for the country’s human capital development,” he added.
PKBM is a non-governmental organization representing Bumiputera contractors.
It was established to promote the interests and competitiveness of Bumiputera contractors.
PKBM has about 42,000 Bumiputera contractors under its wings.
