If you've been reading the news the last few weeks, odds are you've seen Gwyneth Paltrow's face and name plastered across tons of posts. The actress-turned-lifestyle-guru was standing trial for allegedly crashing into a retired optometrist while skiing in Deer Valley, Utah, in 2016. Plaintiff Terry Sanderson accused her of leaving him with a traumatic brain injury and several broken ribs and sought more than $3 million, while Paltrow countersued for $1 in damages as well as her legal fees, claiming that Sanderson was the one who actually caused the incident. Yesterday, the verdict came in, and Paltrow won.
