Age is but a number … right?
For 89-year-old billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, who is expecting his first son with 44-year-old wife Fabiana Flosi, age is no deterrent.
“I don’t see there’s any difference between being 89 and 29,” the former Formula One executive told British outlet PA Media news agency Friday, according to CNN. “You’ve got the same problems I suppose. It’s all right.”
Many would argue octogenarians typically face more health issues, health risks, and have less energy than 29-year-olds, but whatever helps you sleep at night.
It’s the British magnate’s fourth go-round at fatherhood.
His second daughter, 35-year-old model Tamara, from ex-wife and model Slavica Ecclestone, is “absolutely thrilled for them both,” her spokesperson told the outlet.
The mogul is also the father of 65-year-old Deborah, with ex-wife Ivy Bamford. With Slavica, he also shares 31-year-old model Petra.
Ecclestone also has three grandchildren from Petra and one from Tamara.
He and Flosi, who will be a first-time mom when the pair’s son arrives this summer, married in 2012.
