After her initial retirement in 2015, Gisele Bündchen returned to the world of modeling at the start of 2023. That eight-year hiatus clearly has had no effect on her talent as evidenced by her latest cover with Vogue Italia. Bündchen looked completely unrecognizable with blood-red hair and matching brows as thin as a razor.

Bündchen graced the cover of Vogue Italia's March 2023 issue in a gown that was as bright as her hair color. Hairstylist Ali Pirazadeh, who did the hair for this editorial shoot, kept the style simple with a slicked-back look that had a noticeable sheen. Bündchen's eyes were covered in dark, smoky shadows by makeup artist Ana Takahashi, who also drew her brows into super-thin arches in the same fiery-red hue. The red theme did not end there: Takahashi painted Bündchen's lips a glossy, blood-red, and nail artist Maki Sakamoto gave the model an almond-shaped manicure in a similar color.

This wasn't the only picture of this stunning blood-red beauty moment. In a second photo, Bündchen wore a dark-red dress and black leather jacket with the monochromatic beauty look. This second photo offered an even closer view of her bold hair color, smoky eye makeup, and painted lips.

This editorial cover shoot was full of other daring beauty looks. In another photo, the model's hair was a big, frizzy, copper-toned mane. Her makeup was just as bold with a black, graphic liner that had several winged tips. Bündchen also took photos with two short, curly bobs with a baby fringe, one in pitch-black and the other, platinum blonde.

This Vogue Italia shoot was a clear reminder of why Bündchen was the highest-paid model in the world for more than a decade. With her return to the industry, we wouldn't be surprised if she takes that throne again.
