TIARA ALERT: Princess Azemah Ni'matul of Brunei wore a diamond tiara for her wedding to Prince Bahar Bolkiah at Istana Nurul Iman on 15 January 2023.
This is the Majlis Istiadat Bersanding Pengantin Diraja or Royal Bersanding Ceremony. There will be a big reception tomorrow where the bride with also wear a tiara.
I don’t know anything about the tiara but I’ll keep trying to find more info and better pictures. It’s not one that has been worn by Queen Saleha or the bride’s mother, the former Princess Mariam. The diamond earrings, giant diamond heart ring, and diamond encrusted bouquet are the same ones worn by her sister, Princess Fadzilah, at her Bersanding ceremony last year.

The first one is a highlight video with some really good footage and the second one is longer with an English speaking commentator that explains what is happening. Check out the necklaces and brooches on the other members of the Bruneian royal family. I can assure you that all of those gemstones are very real (I always get asked that because the size and modern cuts of the diamonds make people question if they are fake) and only a drop in the bucket of the full Bruneian collection.
