It would appear the only thing Gwyneth Paltrow’s guilty of is good style.
On Thursday, March 30, the Oscar winner’s buzzy ski crash trial drew to a close, with Paltrow deemed not at fault for a 2016 collision on the slopes with retired optometrist Terry Sanderson.
The Goop founder, who memorably told the jury she “lost half a day of skiing” due to the incident, was awarded a “symbolic” $1 in damages.
But avid followers of Sanderson v. Paltrow would need to cough up far more cash than that to buy a piece of the actress’ courtroom wardrobe, which took center stage during the legal proceedings that began on March 21.
For her time in court, Paltrow picked logo-less luxury looks that defined “stealth wealth,” from cozy neutral-toned cashmere knits to impeccably tailored coats and trousers.
Below, a closer look at everything the wellness guru wore during her trial.
On the first day of her trial, Paltrow wore a cozy cream-colored turtleneck similar (but not identical) to Goop’s G. Label Yang Sweater ($595), along with a green coat from The Row and brown Celine boots ($1,200).
But fans were quick to zero in on her gold wire-rimmed glasses — the Caddis Metamodernist Scout ($129) — and compare them to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer’s signature pair.
“Gwyneth Paltrow looks like she’s on trial in 1987 for hiring a hitman to kill her husband,” comedian Jenny Johnson tweeted of the retro-style specs.
The star swapped her viral readers for Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses ($163) while coming and going from court.
On March 22, she stuck to the same neutral color palette, teaming G. Label’s sold-out Bennett Belted Crewneck Cardigan ($595) with khaki pants, a brown leather Celine tote and layers of gold jewelry from both Foundrae — which she sells on Goop, naturally — and G. Label.
Paltrow suited up in gray on March 23, accessorizing her double-breasted jacket and matching slacks with a heart-shaped Foundrae pendant priced at $25,115.
And on March 24, she opted for head-to-toe Prada, taking the stand in a long navy skirt with a black cashmere polo ($2,200) and chunky-soled Chelsea boots ($1,320) from the luxury label.

The trial resumed on March 27 after a weekend break, with Paltrow picking another buttoned-up look.
She paired her lug-sole Prada boots with a crisp white collared shirt and a flowing black skirt, possibly from The Row.
Paltrow completed her ensemble with G. Label’s Alisha V-Neck Cardigan ($595).
She repeated her brown Celine boots on March 28, this time styling them with Proenza Schouler White Label Leather Culottes ($895) and a blush pink G. Label Camila Bow Blouse ($425), and accessorizing — in true Goop fashion — with a green juice.
On March 29, she went for head-to-toe black, teaming a puff-sleeved turtleneck with cropped wide-leg pants and her beloved Prada boots.
Paltrow’s children, Moses and Apple, both testified in their mother’s defense that day, with the latter’s deposition read aloud in court by a third party.
For the final day of the trial, March 30, Paltrow brought back her trusty Celine boots and Ray-Ban aviators.
This time around, she wore them with tan corduroy trousers — likely the G. Label Rowena Wide-Leg Corduroy Pants ($425) — and what appeared to be a blue pinstriped button-up shirt from The Row ($1,190).
She finished off her courtroom ensemble with a deep blue double-breasted blazer by Bella Freud, closing out her trial in style.
