Formula One mogul Bernie Ecclestone becomes a father again at 89

Bernie Ecclestone is on diaper duty again at 89 years old.

On Wednesday, the Formula One mogul and his 44-year-old wife, Fabiana Flosi, welcomed their first child together, son Ace, a rep confirmed to CNN. Ecclestone’s Brazilian wife reportedly called the birth “easy,” noting it “was over after 25 minutes.”

Ecclestone has three daughters — Deborah, 65, Tamara, 35, and Petra, 31 — from previous marriages. Following his first marriage to Ivy Bamford, Ecclestone wed model Slavica Radić in 1985 before calling it quits in 2009. He and Flosi tied the knot in 2012, three years after meeting.

In April, Ecclestone’s daughter Tamara told CNN she was “absolutely thrilled” for her father and Flosi as they readied to welcome their new addition.

With his 90th birthday approaching in October, Ecclestone addressed the age gap with Britain’s PA Media, telling the agency: “I don’t see there’s any difference between being 89 and 29.”

He continued, “You’ve got the same problems I suppose. It’s alright.”

Reps for Ecclestone did not immediately return our request for comment.
