Ingredients :

   1)  2 cups flour
   2) 1 cup water
   3) 1/4 tsp salt
   4) 1 egg
   5) Castor sugar / icing
    To paste : -
   6) 2 sdb cooking oil
   7) 2 sdb cornstarch

 

KUIH TIRAM 

METHOD :

 

1. Mix cornstarch oil 've just now . Stir until well blended. Set aside .
2. Mix corn , eggs , salt and water . Add water and knead dough until it does not stick in hand .
3. Rest dough about 5-10 minutes ( to give a soft and easy grinding )

4. Divide into portions and rolled it( 7-8 divide the intrauterine if we want small oysters)
 5.  Roll out a layer dough until thin and elongated .
6.They then apply a paste earlier on the rolled out dough .
 7. Then roll until it looks like a swiss roll cake with neat
8. Cut 1.5cm of it and grind a bit
9. It can be fried in medium hot oil until golden brown
10.When 've done. Drain the oil mixture and coat la with icing sugar .
