The name rambutan means “hairy” or “messy hair” and refers to the pliable spikes on the skin of this delicious and unusual-looking fruit. Sourced from Central America & Asia for year round supply. Rambutan has a sweet, tropical flavor and is an excellent source of iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamins B5 and C. With only about 10 calories per fruit, rambutan is a satisfying snack for kids and adults alike!
