Guat Cheng Lim

I dreamt of having a home built into the sea, of being lulled to sleep by the gentle sea waves, serenaded by the sound of the waves advancing and retreating.  Reality is another story!  A couple of years ago, I visited Pulau Rawa, stayed a few nights on a beautiful chalet extended out into the sea.  I had sleepless nights with each crashing of the waves hitting the legs of our chalet.  On and on it went, the whole night.  The chalet trembled ever so slightly, it creaked and shooked a little bit stronger on the next wave.  A lull and then the cycle begun again…
