The role: Sales Strategy and Services Director, JAPAC
The Sales Strategy and Services Director for JAPAC is a key member of the JAPAC Leadership team. In this role, you will support the region’s sales and marketing organizations by building and operating internal support functions as well as regional strategy and new initiatives services. In addition, you will be responsible for building and operating a global accounts function focused on integrating APAC into global client initiatives as well as driving revenue and coordinating support for regional premier businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage functions to provide regional, shared service support for sales and marketing teams in JAPAC. Define and execute processes and systems to ensure tight integration with and leverage from teams globally.
- Lead a team to incubate new initiatives across the region with particular focus on opportunities in new media and branding. Once incubated, manage the release of the businesses to individual countries.
- Guide strategy operations for JAPAC focusing efforts leading both regional and country focused analysts to provide direction on questions fundamental to JAPAC leadership and the direction of the business in the region.
- Drive best practice sharing and programs across the region and between JAPAC and other regions to increase productivity and returns to the business.
- Tight integration with the JAPAC Leadership Team in Singapore as well as Country Sales Management, Country Sales Support, and Operations Resources teams and many contingents of headquarter’s business in Mountain View. Flexibility to travel frequently is also key to success.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record. Master's degree (MBA, Ed. Tech., Ed. Psych, Org. Behavior, Communication) a plus.
- Experience and proven track record across career in sales/account management, operations, and strategy.
- Confident communicator effective at very senior levels of engagement and skilled in translating ideas into clear plans of organizational, functional, strategic, and client-based nature.
- Demonstrated success as a leader of change achieving operational excellence by introducing support functions, services, programs, and processes.
- Proven ability to generate high customer satisfaction from internal customers and external clients.
- Proven ability to work across many functions simultaneously in a general management capacity.
